Hi, we are an expat family of 4 who moved to Singapore from Canada. While we are of Indian origin, we have lived abroad all our lives. Minimum Indian food is cooked in our house. We are not vegetarian- we eat everything. We have two boys- 5yr old and 8yr old.
We are looking for a helper who can cook well and also help with household chores. We will have TWO helpers so that helper has to be pleasant and willing to live with another helper in the house. The condo has enough space for both helpers. There are no restrictions on food in this house and plenty of rest time is provided.
We want a helper who is pleasant and trustworthy. Also it is very important that both helpers get along with each other. Anyone who is not willing to work in a house with another helper should not reach out to us.
We treat our helpers like family and expect the same in return. In 10 years, we have had 3 helpers who have stayed with us like they were our own family. We have helped two of our helpers get married and participated in their wedding. In return, we expect the helper to be kind, responsible, polite, treat us and children with respect as well as honesty. We welcome the helper interacting and teaching the kids but do not appreciate rudeness, shouting, telling lies or any ill-behaved attitude. We do not appreciate mobile phones being used in the time that you are supposed to look after the children. Similarly, playground time with the kids is to focus on the kids and not sit in one corner with your mobile and chat with other aunties without attention to kids.
Alternate Saturday and Sundays are given as off days. Salary will be based on experience. Employer recommendations preferred.
We live in a central location near River Valley road in a 4 bedroom condo.
Thanks
Divya
