Can you send me the contact number for … ?

The Anisya community has grown rapidly over the past month.  We’ve also had a good meeting with Bridget Tan from HOME about possible collaboration, after which we noticed a sudden uptick in profile creation from domestic workers.  We were later told that Bridget has mentioned the Anisya website in posts to HOME’s very large DW community pages and mailing lists.  Thanks for helping us spread the word Bridget!

Now with significantly more profiles on our website, we’re finding that employers and domestic workers are not only making more connections among themselves, but making those connections quicker.  This is a good thing as it presents more opportunities to the workers, and also more choice for the employers.  However as more people find out about the Anisya website and see the profiles listed there, we find that we’re getting more requests for the contact information of the person listed.

We’d like to take this opportunity to remind our users and visitors that as part of Anisya’s privacy policy, we are not able to give out this information freely.  We do this in the interest of your privacy and encourage Anisya users to contact one another using the “Request Interview” button, which sends out emails and SMSes behind the scenes for you.  We do not recommend this but if you absolutely need to make your contact information public, you can add this information in the “Short Introduction” section of your profile.

Thanks to all Anisya supporters and all the best in your job hunting!
