We are an Irish & Portuguese family living in a condo near Botanic Gardens. Both parents work full-time and we have 3 children ages 9, 7 and 4 (2 boys, 1 girl). One of the children has special needs so if you have experience working with children with special needs that is a big plus. We are looking for a helper who loves children, is a good cook, is hard-working, reliable, friendly and positive. We also need you to be patient, respectful and loving to our child with special needs. We currently have 2 helpers. One of them has been with us for 4 years and will be moving back to home country shortly, hence we are looking to find her replacement. In this role you will work alongside our Filipino helper to who has been with us for 1 year. Both helpers share the work equally. Responsibilities include housework, childcare, cooking, taking kids to activities etc. We do not have any pets. The usual tasks of child care, cleaning, laundry, ironing, shopping and cooking will be clearly divided between the two helpers to ensure a fair split of work and a great working environment for all.
