Hello there,
We are two single Indian females living in Singapore now for the past 8 years.
We do not have any children or any pets. However, if an employee has experience with them, it would still be considered a plus.
Given that it is only two members of the household without any special needs to take care of, we are willing to pay a salary between the range of SGD 600 and 800 per month.
We would be happy to provide a mutually discussed weekly off-day for the employee. If the employee needs to work on an off-day for any reason, we will provide an alternate day for the person to take off in lieu. We are also happy to discuss providing an off to the employee on public holidays on a case-by-case basis. We are also open to discussing longer leave options on an annual basis if the employee wants to visit her home country or for other personal reasons.
We will provide a separate room and bathroom for the employee. The room will have a single bed, a cupboard and an air flow unit as well as a window for fresh air and sunlight. We will provide all necessary amenities and toiletries for the employee.
The main duties of the employee will include dusting, cleaning the house, maintaining the garden, doing laundry including ironing, cooking on a regular basis (Indian food required or willingness to learn and be trained in Indian cooking and follow recipes), doing the dishes, and other cleanliness and maintenance around the house. We would also expect that the employee run errands such as grocery shopping, dry cleaning, picking up and dropping stuff etc. as is required. We are happy to provide guidance on the manner in which to do this.
Language required: English or Hindi please. If the employee can read and write it would be an added bonus.
